GisClient is a web applications that allows the management of complex GIS projects, through the use of simple features. GisClient offers an intuitive ad exhaustive interface for UMN MapServer and leverages the power of PostgreSQL/Postgis.

Features included are:
- mapping tools: pan, zoom, selection scale, measuring the length and surface;
- query: by point, poligon, circle and attributes;
- project management: creation and full project management through GUI: allows use UMN MapServer without compile .map file and without limitations;
- definition of search patterns: a powerful management tool to access information related to geographical entities, configurable via web interface;
- automatic generation of layouts of return data;
- project administration tools, data (data source and rendering) and analysis tools;
- managing access to data and analysis tools based on user profiles;
- printing tools to scale in pdf format;
GisClient developed with AJAX, JavaScript, PHP / MapScript and tested with UMN MapServer 4 and 5, Internet Explorer (v. 6 and 7), Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari.
Many public and private has adopted it as standard for their projects.
The stable version is 2.1.1 used on server Linux an Windows, is released under GNU/GPL3.
The development version is on http://trac.gisclient.net
